What happened to Country 1035?

Hi

There used to be a country music station in london called Country 1035 which
I believe then changed its name to Ritz 1035 (stupid name IMO but it takes all
sorts) but now it seems to be called Easy Radio playing a diet of middle of
the road recent oldies. Is this the same station or did Country lose its
franchise? And why the hell are they bothering with this format when Magic 105.4
do the same thing with a much much better signal on FM?

Its the same station, but they were bought out, the new owners decided to
change the format
